Change of Occupancy
(A) On change of occupancy, old owner requests final billing, receives bill and is responsible for payment of same.
(B) New owner has 30 days from date of property ownership transfer to sign a water user's agreement with NORW in order to maintain uninterrupted water service, provided proof of ownership is given. A $25.00 transfer fee will be assessed on the first billing cycle.
(C) However, if new owner does not take advantage of the 30 days grace period in which to subscribe to NORW's service the existing contract will be considered cancelled. Service will not be reinstated until a new tap is purchased at the prevailing tap fee.
